Community links

At Carrington Junior School we aim to be a hub within the local community and take part in many local events.

In the last year our pupils have taken part in the village act of remembrance on the green and singing carols at Christmas on the green. We are very fortunate to have assemblies from the churches on both sides of the school and we visit Christ Church as part of our learning in RE.

We have links with the local Rotary Club, who are supporting us in our Diamond Jubilee year and also helping us to make links with a school they support in Zambia.

The Flackwell Local Area History group also come into school and are helping us to find out about the history of our school and village.

Throughout the year we have coffee mornings, book looks and ‘drop and stops’, which are opportunities for our school families to come and visit us and join in with the excellent learning that takes place in our school.

If you require any paper copies of information on our website, please contact the school office.
