Carrington Junior School achieves the Eco-Schools Green Flag award for 2025
Last year, the Eco-Warriors worked incredibly hard on their three chosen areas of Waste, Litter and Biodiversity. They completed activities such as weekly litter picks, introducing paper recycling in the classrooms, food recycling at lunchtimes and creating birdhouses along with launching the RSPB Big Birdwatch.
We are very proud to share that we have achieved the Eco-Schools Green Flag award for 2025.
The Eco-Schools Green Flag is an internationally recognised award that signifies a school's commitment to environmental education and sustainability.
The new Eco-Warriors were elected at the beginning of the term, and they look forward to continuing the good work in order to maintain our status this year.
