Last month, we had an entire week dedicated to Diversity, which is a topic important to our school and to our values. Each day, the whole school took part in a different activity, all designed to increase the children's awareness of the world around us and to celebrate our differences.
We sang beautiful songs from different parts of the world, some in foreign languages, jointly with our little neighbours from the Infant School.
We learnt about refugees and took part in a workshop where we were a family escaping from a country in danger.
We celebrated World Music Day with an amazing steel pan drum band who performed for us, and we all had a go too!

We had discussions around what makes us all different and unique, and why we should all be proud to be different.
Finally, we tasted food from all around the world during International Food Day.
